Harper Adams at the Apprenticeship, Employment and Skills Show

As part of National Careers Week, Harper Adams will be heading to the Apprenticeship, Employment and Skills Show. The event returns to The International Centre, Telford, on Thursday, March 5 from 12pm to 7.30pm to share the variety of available careers to budding, current, and graduating students. Mel Harwood who'll be at the event said:

"In 2019, the event welcomed more than 3,300 visitors and over 70 exhibitors including employers, universities, colleges, training providers and advice and support organisations. As the largest progression fair like this in the local area, it offers visitors a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the wide range of careers. Harper Adams will be joining the event again this year to showcase the apprenticeship opportunities we have.

"Harper Adams University offer six specialist degree apprenticeships, supporting professional development in the food industry as well as utilities and rural surveying. A degree apprenticeship involves working at least 30 hours a week with a company, alongside attending university for part-time studies, for up to five years. Apprentices will also be given time away from their job by employers to study, complete assignments and undertake project work.
